Stayed in this lovely homestay @Anegudi which is a handicraft town with some interesting places to see! With this beautiful sit out to have fast and dinner under the open skies We visited the cave that Vali supposedly was locked inside by Sugreev (that lead to their discord) in Anegudi Next landmark in Anegudi was the supposed place of birth of Hanuman called Anjanadri hills, where Anjana prayed for a baby We also walked in hot sun and saw some ruins of Saraswathi temple and queens bath We even saw an interesting sculpture of master Shifu in these ruins ChandraSekhar Kovil next to Saraswati Kovil in Anegundi The famous stone chariot with Garudan inside (Close to Vittala temple!) Acc. to our guide, this is a 3 way sculpture of 2 lions, 5kg crown (given to Virupaksha lord and Tirupathi Perumal) This is written in old Kannada Close to Lotus temple, elephant stables in the royal enclosure The smaller ruins closer to Vittala temple Acc. to our guide, the tower of Vittala was made with brick...

These are the footprints of the ruler's family deity and it was a rit...
